All measurements below are of the finished garment, in inches — not body measurements. Because every Dhaani piece is cut and stitched by hand in small batches, allow for a small variation of up to 1 inch.

KHAAS — Muslin Kurtas

Bust, waist and hips are the full measurement all the way around the garment.

Size Bust Waist Hips Length Sleeve
Small 38″ 36″ 40″ 47″ 22″
Medium 40″ 38″ 42″ 47″ 22″
Large 42″ 40″ 44″ 47″ 22″
XL 44″ 42″ 46″ 47″ 22″
2XL 46″ 44″ 48″ 47″ 22″
3XL 48″ 46″ 50″ 47″ 22″

TARANG — Satin Modal Kurtas

Cut a little shorter than KHAAS, with a shorter sleeve.

Size Bust Waist Hips Length Sleeve
Small 38″ 36″ 40″ 46″ 19″
Medium 40″ 38″ 42″ 46″ 19″
Large 42″ 40″ 44″ 46″ 19″
XL 44″ 42″ 46″ 46″ 19″
2XL 46″ 44″ 48″ 46″ 19″
3XL 48″ 46″ 50″ 46″ 19″

Sizing note for TARANG: Satin modal has far less give than a soft woven muslin, so the same measurements wear closer to the body. We recommend going one size up in TARANG — particularly if you prefer a relaxed drape, or if you usually sit at the upper end of your size.

CHAAP — Sweatshirts

Chest is the full measurement all the way around, so it compares directly with the kurta charts above. The figure in brackets is the laid-flat measurement, for anyone measuring a sweatshirt they already own.

Size Chest Length Shoulder Sleeve
Small 41″ (20.5″ flat) 26.5″ 18.5″ 21″
Medium 45″ (22.5″ flat) 27.5″ 20.75″ 21.5″
Large 49″ (24.5″ flat) 28.5″ 22.5″ 22″
XL 53″ (26.5″ flat) 29.5″ 24.25″ 22.5″

Our CHAAP sweatshirts are a heavyweight 320 GSM knit with a relaxed, everyday fit. They run S to XL only.

How to find your size

The simplest method needs nothing but a piece you already own and love the fit of.

  1. Lay it flat on a table or bed and smooth out the fabric.
  2. Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other, then double that number to get the full measurement around.
  3. Match that figure to the Bust column for kurtas, or the Chest column for sweatshirts, and pick the closest size.
  4. If you want to check the length, measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.

Our kurtas are a straight cut, so the bust is the measurement that decides your size — the waist and hip figures in the chart are there for reference, and you do not need to measure them.

Fit notes

  • Size up if you like a loose fit in your kurtas, or an oversized look in your sweatshirts.
  • Size up as well if you fall between two sizes.
  • Our kurtas are a straight cut with a relaxed fit through the body.
  • Kurta length is the same across every size, so if you are petite you may want to allow for alteration at the hem.
